Autobiography

My name is Aaesha Saeed, and I was born in April1991, in Ras AL khiemah. I have three brothers and four sisters. Also, I studied in Al Najah School and I graduated by high rate. My favorite hobbies are drawing , watching movies, playing handball sports and Participating in competitions Heritage. Then, I won by Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for the Arts and Creativity in Drawing. My family was the first encouraging me to enter the UAE University.

Actually, this is the third year I'm studying  at UAEU.I chose this University because, this University is famous , has Internationally recognized certificate. I think it is the best university in UAE and we don't need to travel across foreign country to study there. More over as we know that Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan may Allah have mercy on him was a founder our University. He Provided us with all the requirements for studying and University opened for citizens and foreigners.
From 2009 to 2010,I studied the basic of Arabic, IT, Math and English. All of those have two and three levels, and I accomplished those easily and merit. Every year I should learn some things related to my life. so, in that year I known my weaknesses and strengths. Unfortunately, I know most of people don't like to say their weaknesses except strengths. However, I Proud to say my weaknesses because, I learn by mistakes and solve it and improve it. I think this is the best way to learn.
From 2010 to 2011, was second year I started to study very different ways than first year, because, I learned different subjects called requirement of my college. Furthermore, I faced many challenges such as, most of subjects were by English more than Arabic language. And  my English language was little bad but my teachers and students helped me when I need help. Other thing, some teachers depended on the traditional teaching methods focused on the conservation, memorization and repetition. There were far from paying attention to higher levels of thinking to understand and critique, analysis and development. Despite these difficulties, but I enjoyed the study, and I gained many skills, experiences and cultures.
In the beginning of this year, I was very confused in choosing my major. Especially between Translation Studies and Linguistics TESOL, but I decided to take Translation studies. Then ,  When I entered the field of translation I interested but my GPA declined…So , Head of the translation Department select a certain percentage to enter the translation, if I got less than three he will force us to go out. After all, automatically and without thinking I chose the second major is Linguistics TESOL because, I want to improve my language, and learned how to teach perfectly. I hope to communicate with foreign people without stuttering in speech. One of my goal, I want to be a teacher. I hope to teach students by different ways, using technology materials. The other word, I started strong and my family encouraged me more to this specialty because it is required in the future and will benefit for me. I am challenged to be creative. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic and intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution for students.
Sincerely,
